How Does It Work
Skin tightening is often referred to as micro-needling or collagen induction therapy. This is a skin treatment that involves a micro-needling device which is used on the outer layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production and produce new elastin cells. This results in an improved skin texture and more youthful looking skin. You should notice a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, enlarged pores, pigmentation and sun damage.
Downtime
This is a non-surgical procedure which will require minimal downtime. You may notice some redness, which should subside within 4 hours. Avoid any excessive sun exposure for the following 48 hours. It is recommended to apply 50+ SPF sunscreen when outside. Avoid any swimming and strenuous exercise for the following 48 hours. Do not use active/exfoliating products for 5 to 7 days following treatment.
